About Maribel Salazar

For as long as I can remember, photography has been my biggest fascination alongside Interior Design and any kind of manual crafts. I grew up with my father using hundreds of rolls of film a year with his Nikon; he documented our childhood as an amateur and those pictures are some of my most treasured items since his passing. My mother, an interior designer, gave me my love of textiles, of spaces, of beautifully made objects. Today I moonlight as a photography aficionado, but my day to day is absorbed in Creative Direction in the world's largest entertainment company. But photography has always been an escape from the predictability of corporate life, a way of viewing the world anew.
