Born and raised in Dominica, West Indies, Marica Honychurch moved to the U.S in her late teens where she was first introduced to the world of photography. Gaining a B.F.A at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Marica was able to experience film and dark room processes before transitioning over to digital, developing her skills in commercial photography. She continued to focus on her photography, working in New York City for several years before returning to Dominica. She is a freelance photographer concentrating mainly on travel and documentary as well as fine art photography.
Marica has had the opportunity to showcase her work in print, online and displayed at galleries.
