I am an amateur street photographer from Düsseldorf, Germany. After working as a part-time sports photographer for decades, with many publications and numerous awards, I have been fascinated by street photography since 2025. The new field is similar: You have to react quickly, you have to anticipate and only the moment counts. I am excited to see how I develop further. The changing situations on the street fascinate me. There is so much to discover; no photo walk is like the one before. Light, shadow, and above all colors in interaction with people attract me. During photo walks, I feel completely at peace with myself. It is active relaxation, and the large amount of rejects afterwards teaches me to deal with failure humbly.
