Maureen Mulhern-White was born in England and spent her early years there before moving to the US and becoming a naturalized citizen. She received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA in poetry from the University of Iowa’s Writers’ Workshop. Her first book of poetry, “Parallax,” was published by Wesleyan University Press. Along with writing poetry, she experiments with various historic photographic techniques, including making toned silver gelatin photograms, archival pigment prints backed with gold or silver leaf, lumens, cyanotypes and cyanolumens.
