About Megan Zecchin

Megan Zecchin is a mixed-media artist and photographer whose narrative work incorporates her background in theatre. Megan received her MFA in Photography from the University of Houston and her BFA in Studio Art from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. She has exhibited across the United States with exhibitions at the Texas Contemporary Art Fair, Houston Center for Photography, and Fotofest. She has received awards and grants from various educational institutions and art organizations, and was most recently awarded a residency with Post Studio Artist Residency. She has presented lectures on photographic themes and her own work at conferences such as the Society for Photographic Education and the AUMLAC Southern Studies Conference. She is currently a professor of photography and digital media at Blinn College in Bryan, TX.
