My name is Mehrdad Oskouei. I am a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and researcher specializing in historical photography. While I am primarily recognized internationally as a documentary filmmaker, photography remains central to my artistic expression. I have been taking photographs for over 33 years, capturing images in numerous cities across my homeland and in more than 20 countries. Through my work, I strive to give visibility to marginalized communities in my country, offering a voice to the voiceless.
