Melissa Taub is a native New Yorker currently residing in Israel and recent graduate from BFA Photo at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). She is a documentary photographer who creates images that educate the global community. Memory, as well as the aftermath of trauma, is an continuous overarching theme in her work. With survivor grandparents, the memory of the Holocaust was a constant presence in her home while growing up. Melissa’s work speaks about both the collective and individual histories that must never be forgotten.
