My name is Michelle Martins Carvalho. I was born in 1982 in São Paulo, Brazil.
2001 I crossed the ocean to originally study biology at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
2017 I started a photography study at “Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie” in Berlin, which was completed in May 2022 under the mentoring of the renowned german photographers Ute Mahler and Göran Gnaudschun.
The fascination for biology and the unique creations of nature reflects in my photographic work.
