Michelle Reynolds currently lives and works in south west England. Born and raised in Kansas and having previously earned a BFA in Visual Art with a minor in History of Art from The University of Kansas, Reynolds’ photographic practice aims to capture the beauty of rural Kansas which would otherwise go unseen, including the people who inspire her and the places that interest her. She strives to shine a new light on places that may seem ordinary or even unsettling and to create filmic compositions based on themes of isolation and abandonment. Reynolds is also interested in exploring culture shock and the landscape as she works toward a MA in Photography at Plymouth University.
