I was born on November 1983 in Lima, Peru. My interested in the photography began when I was seventeen years old and that started when a teacher from high school showed me the hyperrealistic works of the Iranian painter Iman Maleki. My first photographs were based on my family environment with only a Zenit camera of 35mm.
In 2000, I Entered the accounting faculty, but after six months I left those studies just to dedicate myself of form autodidact to the Photography to begin in 2003 formally my study at "Jaime Bauzate y Mesa Journalism school", While I was studying I started to practice in an small newspaper of the city for then pass the next years of work in different national press media. My interest for the documentary photography is based on social subjects which are not focus directly on violence, but if in the different aspects in how is it going affect the World and Latin America. I studied psychology and currently work as a photographer for the newspaper La Republica in Peru.
