About Mindy Dutka

Mindy Dutka is a dog photographer and storyteller whose work is driven by the belief that photography can change how we see and care for animals. Her images explore the relationship between people and dogs, focusing on moments of vulnerability, trust, and compassion that reveal the depth of that bond.

She is the founder of Dogs I Meet, a photography and storytelling company through which she creates documentary and commercial work for animal welfare organizations and mission-aligned brands. Her projects document rescue efforts, spay-neuter clinics, and communities working to improve the lives of dogs, using photography as a means to bring visibility to their stories and expand awareness.

Working throughout the United States and internationally, Mindy approaches her subjects with sensitivity and respect, creating photographs that honor both the animals and the people devoted to them. She believes photography can serve not only as a record, but as a catalyst for empathy, recognition, and change.
