Mireille is a photographer who draws on her background in architecture, photo-journalism and market research – a winding trajectory that has served to enrich her practice in both architectural photography and the personal projects she pursues. In her personal work she uses photography as a means of posing questions about the built world and the often dualistic, destructive ways in which we occupy it, and their resulting environmental, social and interpersonal consequences. Born in Romania and raised in New York City, Mireille has been based in Berlin since 2014.
