I am a native Texan who chose to live in Houston after living in Austin, Toronto, Southern California, and the Chicago area. The majority of my professional career has involved working in the non-profit sector and in the architecture industry. (I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural studies from the University of Texas at Austin.)
Even though I have been taking photos of vintage signs and other roadside relics since 2010, I did not print any of these photos until May 2014. Since then, I have had the good fortune of having a solo exhibition last year at Catherine Couturier Gallery in Houston, Texas, and had photos shown in group exhibitions at the Houston Center for Photography and the Museum of Neon Art (Glendale, California), and in Atlanta, Denver, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vienna (Austria), among other places. My work has been featured in the Houston Chronicle and Houston Press.
I am currently represented by Catherine Couturier Gallery.
