About Mona Ødegård

Mona Ødegård (born 1982) comes from a small village up in the mountains of Norway.
Just like her grandfather she is a hunter, fascinated by the strange world just beneath the surface of normal life. Her aim is «to capture moments that do not exist without photography.» With her distinctive aesthetic sense, Ødegård´s photographs somehow manage to slow time and show us glimpses of a world that, for all it´s technology, still relies on simple human interaction.
