Monica Mainardi was born on October 13th in 1963.
She got her diploma at the “Accademia delle Arti Applicate”
in Milan in 1987.
She worked as designer and art-director
for some advertising firms until 1990
when she decided to work as an interior designer.
She continued the theoretical and critical studies of arts
and she joined the “Accademia delle Belle Arti”
(“Academy of Fine Arts”) of Brera
and she got a diploma with merit in 2001.
She established a group with some fellow students
called “ Dionysus’s toys”.
They supervise and organise graphic,
painting and engraving exhibitions,
and trompe-l’oil and murals realizations.
Love brought her to Follonica, in Tuscany,
and here she dusted off one of her passions: photography.
And at this moment, her real artistic path begins.
She lives actually in Pietrasanta.
