Studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín and in 1981 dedicated herself to photography. She worked in several film productions as still photographer and in 1986, co-founded the Photographic Front, an organization of women photographers. His works can be found in the permanent photographic collections of the Eliseé Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, and at the International Photography Encounters in Arles, France. She is also co-founder of the Associated Artists Work Cooperative, Integrartes in Cali, in 1997. Her work appears outlined in Eduardo Serrano's History of Photography in Colombia.
