I am a Dutch photographer/ visual artist/ art educator with a special interest in issues such as memory and time and how they relate to landscape. I never sought exposure with my work before, until 2016. Promptly, this resulted in a nomination as a finalist for the Renaissance Photography Prize 2016, London, UK. Later that same year, an image from the 'Lost Land Revisited' series was selected by the Lens Culture's editorial team to be featured in the online Competition Gallery of the Exposure Awards 2017 and I was invited to create a portfolio account, as 'The Lost Land Revisited' series was one of the top-rated entries in the Emerging Talents Awards 2016.
I have a Master's degree in General Literature, a bachelor degree in the Visual Arts and I am a Bachelor of Education in Visual Art and Design.
I lived and worked in Norway from 2003 - 2016.
