Ignacio Caravia Nogueras (Oviedo, 1980) first approaches photography in Oviedo, followed
by his moving to Barcelona for continuing his photography studies. There he starts working as photography assistant for several commercial photographers
and as freelance photographer. At the same time he keeps participating in
photography workshops, especially remarkable is the one taught by Anders Petersen
(Barcelona, autumn 2007).
In 2009 is awarded with Clic’09 Fotoperiodisme Jove fellowship to commit a project
about Zona Franca neighborhood in Barcelona.
He moves to Madrid at 2012 to study at the school Blank Paper.
He uses photography to research in personal relationships.
