Naoyuki Ogino (Artist)
Born in Tokyo Japan, grew up in Mexico and now living in Kyoto Japan.
Graduated from Nagoya University Faculty of Science Department of Physics.
He won the Grand prix of the First Japan Photographers Union (JPU) competition.
His themes as artist is "In-betweeness".
In Kyoto he is photographing more than 19 years in one Geisha House as his life work.
He has several publications including "A Geisha's Journey".
He has attended many festivals around world including Tashkentale in Uzbekistan, Tbilisi Photo Festival in Georgia, Pingyao International Photography Festival in China, and KG+ in Japan.
His work was been dealt in Photo London, Unseen, Photo Basel, PAN Amsterdam, etc.
He is reviewer at Voies Off portfolio review in Arles for KG+ since 2016.
His representative gallery is Ibasho gallery in Antwerp Belgium.
He is Lecturer in Stanford University Japan Center and Ritsumeikan University.
