Photographing over the last 20 years, from analogue to digital and back to analogue, Nekane likes to experiment with the medium, both in format and practice. From a journalistic background and with an MA in Global Media and Post-national Communication from SOAS, Nekane favours portraiture and social documentary photography, looking to capture the essence of what or who lies behind the other side of the lens.
