Nicholas Costopoulos is a self taught fine art photographer based in Boston Massachusetts. Born and raised in Boston, he has spent the better part of 10 years living in and photographing the outer Cape Cod towns of Truro and Provincetown. While on Cape Cod, he attended workshops and honed his photographic skills documenting the ever-changing landscape of the Cape Cod seashore.
Currently in Boston, he continues to learn more about photography such as alternative process printing, portrait and figure studies in his East Boston studio. He is now embarking on a new long term project, Coming Home Again and Again, examining and documenting his identity as a second generation Greek American coming to terms with his familial, cultural, societal, religious, and spiritual life. Caregiver is the beginning of this project. He holds an MFA in Visual Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
