Born in India and raised in the United States. My parents sacrificed so much for me to get an amazing education here. I studied engineering and worked in the field for 4 years after college. During the downturn of the economy I was laid off. During this time I found my love for documenting moments and memories. It was my parents wedding album that made me realize how powerful photographs are.
I used whatever resources I could to learn all about the technical aspects of shooting. It soon became an obsession. About a year after losing my job, I found another position as a city engineer, which held great benefits and job security...but I couldn't ignore the fact that I had fallen in love with the idea of being a photographer. Six months into the job, I put in my two weeks to pursue a life as a wedding photographer documenting memories for others. My work has since expanded to portraiture, photojournalism, and fine art works as well as personal projects where I hope to share ideas and subjects that are meaningful to me.
