Tokio Nose (b. January 25, 1993) was born in Tokyo, Japan. After earning a master's degree, he worked as an economist and then in a regional development consulting position. Tokio began taking photographs to document the various regions of Japan he encountered. Inspired by Ray Metzker, Shoji Ueda, Shiotani Teiko, and William Klein, Tokio began showing his work as a street photographer.
