I have been taking photographs from about 12 years of age, making pictures and developing them with my farther in our little darkroom in Yorkshire. I then studied photography at Harrogate College of Art under a brilliant teacher called Alan Simpson, he was an outstanding industrial photographer and so passionate about photography and a true inspiration. I later studied at Brighton University with tutors Mark Power and Paul Rees.
I have worked commercially to support myself my family and my personal projects. I have had some brilliant commissions such as The story of the Angora goat in Camdeboo, South Africa. 24 Hrs in Tokyo and Leather workers in Walthamstow, London.
I have recently moved to Barcelona, Spain with my family to focus on my fine art projects.
I am 43 years of age, Have a wife called Sarah and small daughter called Roz who is 4 ¾.
