I’m Oona Baron, 22 years old, German-American, and raised in New York City. I am currently a student in my third year at Lette Verein studying photography in Berlin and will finish this July. In Septemeber, I will begin as an intern in the archives for one of my main inspirations; Joel Meyerowitz. In 2014, I moved to Berlin and started exploring my European identity, which fueled a love for photography that began in New York. I grew up in a very creative environment--my mom is a documentary filmmaker and my father is a writer. Through them, I’ve found myself surrounded by stories, told both visually and narratively, and quickly longed to tell my own.
