Paul Preece is a photographer and scientist based in Oxford, England.
He was born in a Welsh mining village and has lived in Spain, Los Angeles and London. He trained as a neuroscientist and has published papers on Alzheimer's Disease and neuropathology.
His interest in photography was born in a time when toxic chemicals and darkened rooms were the norm. He began with black and white street photography, evolved into large format landscape and architecture and has recently returned full circle to his first love of the streets.
Paul has exhibited widely in Spain and the UK.
His exhibition "Cloisters - Remember that you have to die" is at the North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford in 2019. www.thenorthwall.com/
