Paul Preece is a photographer and research scientist based in Oxford, England.
He was born in a Welsh mining village and has lived in Spain, Los Angeles and London. He initially trained as a neuro-scientist and has published scientific papers on Alzheimer's Disease.
His interest in photography was born in a time when toxic chemicals and darkened rooms were the norm. He began with black and white street photography in the late 1970s, evolved into large format landscape and architecture and has recently returned full circle to his first love of the streets.
Paul has exhibited widely in Spain and the UK. His next solo exhibition is at the North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford in 2019. www.thenorthwall.com/
