About Paula Goldman

My work explores photography’s role in transforming and memorializing cultural artifacts.

My BFA is from the University of Michigan School of Art. Upon relocating to Houston, I became a founding member of the Houston Center for Photography. My MFA is from CalArts. Exhibitions and publications include OCCCA; LACE Annuale; Px3, Paris; Time Capsule, Creative Time, NYC; Photometro, San Francisco; Houston Center for Photography; Framework, LACPS; Women and Their Work, Austin; and public projects in Seattle and Santa Monica.

Long-term teaching appointments include UC Riverside, USC, and UCLA Extension. Commercial clients included MOCA, LA; PaceWildenstein Gallery; and USC Libraries; among others.
