I have always had an artistic eye, but never really pursued photography. I have a BA in Film/Video editing. Through college and many years after, my alcoholism took priority over everything in my life. I hit many near death bottoms while losing complete sight of who I really was.
I recently celebrated 7 years of sobriety!!
After finally asking for help, I took all of the necessary actions to get clean, right my wrongs, better myself, and ultimately help others. While becoming honest with myself and everyone around me, I found that the most beautiful people in my life are the ones who are honest me and themselves. The ones that weren't afraid to open up their hearts. I also saw hope for those that are afraid.
We all have the same bodies and feel the same feelings. If we can all be our true selves, I think this world would be a better place. I hope my photography can bring awareness to addiction, mental health, and so much more! Thanks!
