I am a (mostly) retired physician who has been photographing most of my adult life. As I have aged my passion for the medium (and I would like to think, or perhaps hope) has only increased. I am drawn to strong images of people, especially those who haunt the margins of society and/or who have visually striking faces, as well as stark landscapes. For people, I am interested in having their stories told in a way that photography can accomplish, particularly black and white imagery.
