I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art, BFA MFA.
I teach at Johns Hopkins University where I started the Photography program 23 years ago. I've been teaching in Ireland for the past ten years and Australia for the past two. I have lectured on Photography in Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, Croatia and Ecuador.
