About Pierre-Philippe Toufektchan

During my career, I first worked in social photography.
I made portraits in ''EHPAD'', in a nursing home and in a ''DAMIE'' (device to foreign isolated miners). These experiences have marked my practice and I was able to exhibit these portraits in the suburbs of Lyon, as well as at the ''Palais de la Porte Dorée'' in Paris, 2015.

Then, I focused on the theme of family and intimacy in the photography, but my practice in this medium was becoming progressively rare.

In parallel, I worked in the world of documentary video, art video and short film. In documentary, I collaborated with the city of Thouars (France). In film and art, I alternate between collaborations with artists, short film or music clip shoots.

Since 2017, I joined an independent collective, Réalize! studio.
