For fifteen years, Pierre-Yves Linot has been making still life photography, as seen with his 4stones project.
In 2017, in response to Trump’s immigration policy, he started to photograph pairings of immigrants’ portraits and abstract arrangements of stones, using alternative photography processes.
Pierre-Yves Linot is a French photographer living and working in New York City. His work has been internationally exhibited in solo and group shows, in Paris, Madrid and New York City. Pierre-Yves Linot studied photography at the International Center of Photography (ICP) and the School of Visual Arts (SVA.) He has been affiliated to Soho Photo Gallery in New York City since 2006.
