Pregnancy for two

Period of pregnancy is a very important period in the life of the couple. I watched at pregnancy albums of different people and it seemed to me that it shows only the tip of the iceberg, while it’s possible to show beauty as something that's full of substance and emotion. The contents of the image can be like a drama, as in literature. After all, pregnancy is a process, the real test for parents who are going through it together. I would like to convey sensations and experiences namely of both parents as a one whole. Their bodies and souls are in a real transformation. The man daily inundated with new information for him, impressions and sensations, one becomes aware of the reality of little person growing inside the wife. Sometimes he empathizes with his wife so much that he detects on himself the symptoms of pregnancy. When shooting this series It was important to me as photographer to be open and be able to see what is usually taken for granted, which means to learn how to discern the flow of an individual life, the subtleties and deviations, and try to combine them into image. Usually a lot of moments and nuances stay out of the convention when shooting pregnancy. Therefore, adding some amount of humor, I tried to do it differently.
