I recently visited Cuba for the first time, spending 12 days there with my partner. We visited areas of Vinales, Playa Larga, Cienfuegos and Trinidad, and finally spent 3 days in the capital Havana. We were totally blown away with Cuba, but especially Havana, absolutely loving the vibrancy, colour and history of this amazing city. And these traits make it a street photographers' paradise. I spent a lot of time with my Sony ILCE 6000 and its 16-50mm lens trying to capture the beauty and character of Havana and its beautiful people, who seem to spend a lot of their day enjoying chatting and watching the world pass by. For most of my shots, I took "from the hip" to not try to impose myself on the locals, and overall I really loved how the images have turned out.
