When I visit a new city, I like to give myself street photo assignments outside of my editorial work to expand my visual language: When I recently visited Copenhagen, I decided to spend a twelve hour gap in my work schedule with documenting scenes of every day life. I like to work in the squared format when doing street photography, as I started my photographic journey using my father's old Hasselblad 500 C. The squared format forces me to find more minimalistic scenes to maintain clean compositions.
