International Women's Day - March 8, 2019

March 8th, 2019, International Women's Day. At sunrise that day I photographed a religious procession in Teotitlán del Valle, a village about an hour drive from Oaxaca, Mexico. At sundown, I attended a Marcha De Mujeres in the city of Oaxaca. The difference in the events felt like a time travel experience. The difference within the women, illustrates how fast our world has changed.
