Simurgh
Project info

The ancient Iranian poets wrote about the existence of a female bird called the Simurgh. Similar to the griffin and the phoenix, making its home in the Tree of Life, when it rises in flight this powerful bird of multicolour plumage shakes the leaves on the trees’ branches releasing the seeds carried by the winds and the waters to create all the flowers of the earth.

I like to imagine through photography what that place inhabited by the Simurgh must be like.
