CRANICO lives in the magic multiethnic district of Milan.
She has always been influenced by hardcore/punk music, diy and improvisation.
Starts in some friends’ storage room assembling fanzine, print mistakes and collages, saving vinyl covers and questionable taste magazines.
She does not start with a precise idea, the works are flexible and she transforms them mixing images and paper that happen to be around.
All works are strictly analogic, with obsessive care at details; no digital manipulation at all.
She is part of OLTRE COLLAGE COLLECTIVE, and share with them the cut and paste passion. She spreads her work through exhibitions, workshops and a diy editorial project.
Through the years she took part in different independent festivals and combined exhibitions: “DEEP CUTS” and “FCKK”, at the newborn Buzz Kill Gallery in Livorno, are the latest ones.
In 2015, with some friends, she founds and takes part of AFA – AUTOPRODUZIONI FICHISSIME ANDERGROUND.
The festival is now at its 4th edition, and many different artists already joined it (Max Capa, Vincino, Vincenzo Sparagna, Tom Bunk and many other...)
She won ART PRODUCTION PRIZE 2019 by Paratissima.
