I was asked to take on this project by a friend who had recently lost her mother-in-law. Rosemary and Mick bought and moved into this house just after they were married and nothing had changed in it since. They raised a child in it, made memories with friends and family, got to know their neighbours, proudly displayed all that they loved, and in early 2019, Rosemary said goodbye to this house, sitting in the front room, between her husband and her son. After that day, Mick felt like the heart of the house had gone and decided to live with family. The house will soon be changed, updated, maybe sold to a new family, but before that could happen, my friend asked me to take pictures of this beloved house, its highly curated contents, its memories, and its last bits of remaining soul. Goodbye Rosemary.
