My images and animations are largely generated using neural networks trained on large data-sets of images. The resulting machines are capable of generating infinitely many images which approximate the style and content of their training data. My interest in this material is largely motivated by questions surrounding infinite image generation in an image saturated society. These questions often veer toward the existential when concerning images of idiosyncratic importance, such as portraits of people or the universe. My goal with these images is to call attention to minutiae of human experience mediated by images while peeking at the absorbing thrill of infinity.
