In this series I photograph the experience of visiting the Historic Santa Fe Plaza during the month of December. This time of the year, an otherwise quaint and small-town square becomes especially enjoyable with a stunning display of Christmas lights, artfully strung throughout its tall, old trees. After the sun sets, I take a stroll around "The Plaza", and I ask strangers to be part of my photography project. I must point out that these images are single photographs and not digital composites. I have created these surreal effects using my self-developed technique in-camera, with only one exposure. These photos are the expression of a desire to visualize what I perceive as an electric and extraordinary atmosphere, ablaze with holiday spirit.
