These works are about color and light, the reduction of space and form into one dimension. Photography always needs an object - in this case it is sculpture - some massive, rusty, vertical corten-steel plates created by Richard Serra. This for me "raw-material" is transformed through photography into independent images, turning alive through light, color and proportion. Technique: 4x5" analog camera. Prints: 100 x 80 cm - 39 3/4 x 31 1/5 inch, on Photo Rag in limited edition of 7+2AP, 125 x 100 cm - 49 1/4 x 39 3/4 inch on Photo Rag in limited edition of 5+2AP, signed and numbered with pencil on verso.
