A Series of Views in Passing

This series is from a work in progress. What I am trying to achieve is a synthesis of the formalist geometries found in Modernism, particularly that of Color Field art such as Mark Rothko, and the spontaneity and rhythm of street photography, which was my founding interest in this art form. The austerity of the framing geometries is to remind us of our place as detached viewers, isolated from the subjects depicted within the photographs.
