Fishing Villages of Gotland

This is a series of images taken at fishing villages on the Swedish island of Gotland. There are about 150 remaining fishing villages that are located around the whole island along the coast line. Some villages have their origin dating back as far as 800 - 1050 AD. I was fascinated by the variety of houses in each village, giving each settlement it's individual character. Many houses are still being used by fishermen today.
