2020 Suzuki Katana

In 1981, Suzuki had an iconic motorcycle they called the KATANA. According to Suzuki, it stole the hearts of riders around the world. The new KATANA is a thoroughly modern machine that pays homage to the old classic. I was commissioned by Suzuki Australia to photograph the Australian launch of this motorcycle with the brief of giving a modern take on an old classic. They wanted to highlight the sharp lines of the bikes and point out the details in a subtle and dramatic way. I had both black and silver models. My representation of the Katana was to show enough detail but have images that would leave the viewers wanting to know more and ask more questions of the bike.
