My photos, my trophies

The serie is the result of processing my time as a back-packer in Asia. More than a decade later the photos, grasping for the exotic, appeared as trophies rather than innocent travel memories. By destroying the negatives I thought I could save them from the exoticism, but maybe all I did was fortifying it. It’s like I’m trapped in a circle of reproducing preconceived perceptions of the world.
