Collapsing Horizon
Project info

This project documents the beauty in the falling and decaying of trees in a unique landscape of cliff against ocean. I found that new horizons and perspectives were revealed by these transitioning and descending trees. The relentless force of the ocean erodes the forest and limestone and reshapes the landscape.

The trees sitting at the cliff in Jasmund National Park ultimately fall down to the beach due to erosion. Some trees can resist and sit on the edge for many years with changing horizons to face the inevitable.
