Inner State
‘’The crisis consists precisely in the fact that the old is dying and the new cannot be born, in this interregnum a great variety of morbid symptoms appear ‘’
A. Gramsci.
The horizon is hidden behind thick fog preventing us from seeing what’s lying in front of us. Time seems to slow down at the most crucial moments making every second feel endless, it’s these moments that its presence becomes more and more intense.
Familiar Greek landscapes look bizarre in this scenery. Empty highways, solar panel fields, constructions left unfinished, rotten watermelons and torn flags seem stuck in an intermediate state, portraying the current situation.
This series of photographs aspires to project the current situation of Greece onto its landscapes and visualize the inner state of their inhabitants.
