Project: City Skyline

City Skyline Day and Evening Photographed in Bethlehem, PA A longing exists for the sky, as the colors touch it. Weaving their way inside the clouds and the skyline each day. I long to look there, In the morning. The time when birds are singing their songs. Lifting their music skyward. A bounty of notes, as the city’s skyline resonates with music and colors. Later, the sun burns warmly. Casting blue shadows as colors undress for all to see. Easy for me to feel this intensity. The scent of my skin bearing the passion I feel. A warmth shared. The sky ablaze as the sinking sun leaves a message, Against the city skyline. The fruits of the colorful clouds waning. And yet the night sky brings me peace. In a different way, I’ve learned. Though the colors have softened into subdued shades. The light is ever present. The dark a warm blanket. Wrapped around the sky. Keeping safe the colors. The city skyline awaiting a new day.
