I am fortunate and grateful to have a working camera, car and gas money, and that’s about all I need to do my work. Also an apt description for how I work, “In Every Direction” is a loose knot tied around photographs depicting natural and human-affected landscapes – sometimes exclusively or working together. This particular group of images is bound – and yet loosely so – more by their aesthetics, subjects and style than by an enveloping concept. The only provocation I offer the viewer is that one isn’t needed here.
